My Story

About Stasha

As a Natural Health Coach, Iridologist, and Kundalini Yoga teacher, I am the driving force behind the establishment of Inspire Yoga & Wellness. It is my passion to share the knowledge I have accumulated on my personal healing journey over the years, empowering and guiding others to heal themselves. My ultimate wish is for every individual to experience freedom from suffering and to live a life of health, happiness, love and joy.

I began my healing journey in my late twenties when I received a diagnosis of thyroid cancer and was advised to have my thyroid removed. However, after seeking multiple perspectives, I made the decision not to proceed with the removal. Over the years, I sought the expertise of various alternative doctors, yet unfortunately, there were no improvements observed in my thyroid nodules.

Following the birth of my second daughter, my health took a steep downturn. Not only did my brain fog and migraines worsen, but I also began experiencing panic attacks. Moreover, my anxiety seemed to spiral out of control. Regrettably, I neglected to pay attention to the state of my digestion. However, with my current knowledge, it is evident that I was suffering from irritable bowel syndrome.

Over the course of several years, I sought advice from multiple doctors, specialists, and alternative medicine practitioners, but unfortunately, there was no noticeable progress. During this time, a traditional Chinese medicine doctor I was seeing made a remark: “It’s all in your mind.” Was this assertion correct? Yes, but only to a certain extent.

Yes, my mind and emotions were definitely a problem, but none of those doctors ever bothered to ask me about my diet, daily routines, my environment, my interests, my job… you name it. All they wanted to know was, “What’s wrong with your health? What brings you here?” Then they’d just prescribe me different meds and supplements, and if nothing changed by the next visit, they’d switch it up. This went on for years, hopping from one doctor to another, with no improvement at all. It wasn’t until one day when I realized that I was the one who put myself in this state of health, and I was the only one who could get myself back on track. That was the turning point when I started asking questions, doing my own research, studying, and slowly but surely, the path to healing began to unfold.

Yes, in order to heal there were a lot of changes that I needed to integrate into my daily life, and it wasn’t easy. I was used to eating processed and cooked food and going 80% raw was very challenging, but once I saw the changes in my health there was no going back. Getting up before sun rise to practice Kundalini yoga wasn’t easy either, but seeing improvements in my overall health and well-being, Kundalini yoga became a part of my life and my morning routine. It brought me emotional stability, physical and mental strength and most importantly it opened my heart to love. After seeing how powerful and transformative Kundalini yoga is, I’ve decided to undergo Kundalini yoga teachers’ training, so I could share this life-changing ancient practice with others.

Kundalini Yoga kickstarted my journey of exploration, growth, and self-care. As I delved deeper, new opportunities presented themselves, leading me to immerse myself in understanding all facets of human existence in order to nurture and heal myself holistically.

I have personally witnessed the significance of incorporating a holistic approach that encompasses the body, mind, heart, and soul for optimal healing. Despite making changes to my diet and addressing my mental well-being, there were lingering emotional issues that needed to be resolved. It was only when I began to address and work on all aspects-physical, mental, emotional and spiritual-that I started to experience and transformation in my health, and witnessed remarkable changes taking place.

After witnessing significant transformation in various aspects of my life, Inspire Yoga & Wellness was born with the aim of helping, empowering, guiding, inspiring and teaching others how to improve their overall health and well-being and to become their own healers.
