The importance of getting out of our comfort zone

Comfort zone. Everybody loves that comfort zone, and its name says it; we’re comfortable in there, we’re safe and we feel that nothing is better than being in there. However, we all know where all the goodies come from, and that is out of our comfort zone.

What is actually keeping us in our comfort zone is our ego. Ego loves comfort zone, and ego is the one that is telling all the stories about how great is in our comfort zone, how there is the danger if get out of it and if we want to change things. It want to keep us safe and it doesn’t like the change, but we grow outside of our comfort zone. When we find ourselves in unfamiliar circumstances we become creative and build our confidence because we face our fears.

In my opinion the most important thing is that once we get used to getting out of our comfort zone again and again we accept the changes that come our way with ease. We all know that things change non stop, everything around us changes, and we can’t change any of those outer events, we do not have the power over them, but what we have power of is how we will experience those situations. That is within us, and the more we get out of our comfort zone we will experience and accept any change that comes our way comfortably. We will just flow with life.
